Any OTG dock should work, in case Andromium does't launch you can launch it manually.

Hey folks! Using a Galaxy Nexus Maguro running CM 11. As you might imagine, it's slow and a little clunky. But with Chromecast, it is working. It's pretty sweet for the most part. But there are some issues. Not sure how many are because of the speed of the chip. If anyone needs a bluetooth keyboard, this is the one I'm using, and it works pretty well: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M32PBXO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thank you for the feedback aaltieri. Ya unfortunately Galaxy Nexus is really dated hardware platform at this point, many of our users have had luck running Andromium OS in device with 1gb of ram, but the dual core CPU in the GNex really hold it back a bit. If you are able to use a MHL adapter to hook the GNex up to the TV/Monitor, it will provide a much improved experience (much lower latency).
Newer Snapdragon 800+ devices have special design hardware functions that allow video compression that can vastly improve/reduce Chromecast latency, but unfortunately it is only available for very high end SoC.

Samsung: Galaxy S3/S4/S5 Note2/Note3/Note4/Edge HTC: (experimental) One M7/M8 One E8 LG: (experimental) G2/G3 Nexus4/Nexus5 Oppo: (experimental) One Plus One Motorola: (experimental) Nexus6 Droid Turbo Sony: (experimental) z2/z3/z3c Experimental Devices: they are device we have done limited testing on, but have not have a chance to do details user testings. As we have more chance and time to test those devices further, we will remove the experimental support status. Hi, I have tried to install Andromium on my Note2 but it said the device not supported. The system has been recently upgraded to Kitkat on Note2 so I do not understand what the problem is. Thanks.

Hi, I wanted to try Andromium on my Galaxy S3 but on the Play Store it says that my device doesn't support it. Do I need to install a Kitkat 4.4.2 ROM (or maybe a Cyanogenmod ROM) onto it or download the app from somewhere else? And any MHL to HDMI dock that can charge the phone will work, right?

Hi Greeny, yes you will need a 4.4.2 ROM for your S3. However be careful. not all custom rom will have the MHL driver build into the rom's kernel. So when choosing the rom, do a bit of research first.

Hi. What about Xperia Z Ultra. Will it be supported? Hi PL, from some quick research online. I think that Xperia Z Ultra have the require hardware to run Andromium OS. However it probably won't be an "official" supported device since we don't have a unit on hand to test. But it should run properly based on the hardware spec and android version.

Hi!
This app is really interesting for every one who wants to use an android device for professional.
Is there any chance to have it on android less than 4.4.2 ?

Hello. Can Andromium OS supports ZiFRO ZS6500 (aka Star U650 aka Ulefone U650 aka Carpad T65 aka Goophone S4 Mega) or Huawei Ascend Y100 (U8185) or Alcatel OT-903? My mail for reply is jappix14atyahoo.com

Hi Moon_LS, unfortunately, there is a couple new API we needed from Android version 4.4.2 to complete the Andromium OS functionality. So I think 4.4.2 will be the oldest version we support going forward.
Hi Ivan, the Goophone S4 has the hardware spec to run Andromium OS, however it needed version 4.4.2 or higher, and depend on the country/market you are in, it might or might not have 4.4.2 firmware available. Both Huawei Ascend Y100 and Alcatel OT-903 is way too old, and won't work. Hope that helps.
