Hello,
I know the tablet version is not out yet but I would like to post a tablet which I would be happy if it is added to the supported devices in the future, I would also be very happy to participate in any beta testing as I have a wide knowledge in Android Development and can provide some feedback and any bugs I find.
I have a Galaxy Tab S 10.5" running Lollipop (ROOTED), I'm putting this device on as it's got a 2560x1600 resolution and I find that some apps are not running too good with this resolution.
Regarding the Tablet version of Andromium, as far as I know the system runs on the actual tablet but will there be also a possibility to stream to Chromecast as a second screen?

Hi Kahun Tab S 10.5 should be compatible since it exceed the hardware (tablet requirements: Snapdragon 600 or better, 2GB ram, 4.4.2 or better). However we are not currently planning to support dual screen in "Tablet mode". But if you choose to, you can mirror the tablet screen onto an external TV/Monitor using Chromecast.

Just tried to run Andromium om my Radxa Rock single board computer. (2Gb RAM, 2+ GHz 4 core CPU, USB keyboard and mouse, Android 4.4.2 rooted, 24" monitor attached directly via onboard HDMI)
Just poked around for a few minutes , but it seems to run just fine.
A fast note: Too big cursor and font is way too small. This needs to be easily adjustable.

Hi Jasse, can you post a screen shot to show the font and cursor issue? Thx.

Hi Jasse, can you post a screen shot to show the font and cursor issue? Thx. It didn't work out the way I wanted it, but here it is. Oki, I just read this thread again and saw that this is NOT the tablet version, that might explain the big cursor. Also, white text under the icons on the destop on top of a very bright background image makes it more or less unreadable. Attachments:

Hi,
I have ordered slimport adapters for my Yotaphone 2 where I believe this will be really neat with good performance. Until then I tried it on my ASUS Transformer TF101 and it works really great. Of course I don't run stock rom but use KatKiss so that I'm on KitKat.
Great work Gordon and team!

Hi I'd like to try Andromium on my Asus Trio (TX201LA) but when I search the Play Store I cannot find the app. Is there an APK I could download?

Hi Fitzperfect, It seem that Asus Trio runs android 4.2 only, and doesn't have a 4.4.2 firmware, so that is the reason you can't find the app on the play-store.

Thanks,Gordon. I guess it's time to try rooting the tablet, in the absence of an upgrade from Asus.

Good News!
Andromium OS works on less powerful hardware!
Tablet used: Acer A200 Tegra T20 (Dual-Core, 1 GHz) 1 GB of RAM Full sized USB port No HDMI port Android 4.4.4 OmniROM (not stock)
If possible, please add the ability to resize apps (window) and have notifications available on taskbar.

Hi RetroDisk, thank you for the info and feedback. A custom notification center is something we are planning for future version. Support resizing for regular android apps something we are still exploring, we currently don't know if that is possible without root/custom Rom supports.
Best,
-Gordon

Hi Moonfield, sorry for the delayed response, been traveling a bit lately. Your table should work with Andromium OS, we support both x86 and ARM CPU. As for direct link to APK download. Unfortunately we currently only host it through Google Play store, there are 1 or 2 API we use that is tied directly to the Google Playsotre. In theory Andromium OS should work even without Google Playservice, but it is something you going to have to test yourself and find out. As for a download link, there are other sites that will allow you to download our APK, like www.apk4fun.com/apk/47936/. Try those links and lets us know how it works. Best, -Gordon
